While riding the complementary shuttle bus between the Canali and Versace men's' shows, I had the pleasure of chatting with Sarah and her friends, and listening to their very thoughtful opinions about designers like Marc Jacobs and Alber Elbaz (Sarah respects Elbaz for his directness and adores his kindness.)

From our conversation, I gathered that Sarah is a part of the current generation of multitaskers (smitten with multitaskers this week) who, by their hands-on-approach, are taking the fashion industry by storm. They have boundless energy, and are an inspiration for me when I am exhausted and my imagination taxed.

Now based in Paris, Sarah hails from South Korea and spent her childhood in the US, UK, and are ready u ready for this, Namibia! Even though she just recently finished her studies at Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, she has already done design work for Balenciaga and Lanvin and has freelanced as a stylist. In addition to these impressive accomplishments, she also finds the time to design gorgeous jewelry. Like the necklace pictured above, she says that her creations tend to have "a very earthy, ethnic feel as well as very contrasting digital and geometric textures."

With all these accomplishments under her Lanvin belt, she now has her sights set on conquering the Magazine world! Knock 'em dead darling! Use those beautiful YSL mittens!

A Stylish Bird • Francisca

Ever meet someone whose energy made you stop and take notice? A wanderer? A free spirit? Someone that you are convinced was here before? Someone with a remarkably pure or innocent soul? But someone who, by the the grace of her previous-life experience, is undeniably sophisticated? And this reins true also for her style which tends to be adventurous, rich from travels and trend neutral?

With the couture shows over and a clear nod to the seventies by its players, a very special person comes to mind. First, and probably always, for her amazing spirit, and more precisely for her seventies-style sensibility. (I say sensibility because, I don't think she has chosen the seventies as her fashion decade-of- choice. I am convinced, rather, that she selects the things that catch her fancy.)

This is Francisca, a stylish bird.

An architecture student here in Milan, she travels the world to see famous cities, buildings and interiors. And on her travels, she picks the lovely pieces with which she fills her closets. Above, she wears a Boule de Neige coat; a scarf from Marisa Tassy, a Milanese boutique; a Massimo Dutti sweater; Zara shirt; Missoni skirt; a belt from Biffi, a Milanese boutique; sandals by Comptoir des cotonniers; and a vintage bag. And below, a riding coat thrifted at a charity sale; a skirt found at a market in Portugal; and a vintage scarf and bag.

A Stylish Bird • Iman

I first met Iman of Stylebyme during the chaotic days of MFW SS10. She was doing the glamorous thing. I noticed her immediately. She had great style.

I bumped into her a month later at the Jimmy Choo for H&M sale and was really impressed with her casual take on style. Her boyfriend blazer, boyfriend's sweater (I have totally taken over my husband's sweaters), chunky scarf, and driving gloves are a perfect perfect mix of edge, texture, and proportion. This time we exchanged info!

Layer master. My final run-in with this PYT confirmed my suspicion that she has style for days! Love the layering! I personally think that she's mastered the art of layering because she travels like crazy. My theory: If you wear a part of your wardrobe, you gain a ton of space in your luggage for plan A-Z outfit options, and for all of your new acquisitions. Brilliant! See you when you get back Iman!
