Navy Blazer/Sheer black tights

Veronika

Veronika's look works on many different levels. First, a menswear-inspired navy jacket paired with a pair of long and beautiful legs, covered only by sheer tights, is a playful way to mix feminine and masculine dressing. Second, the detailed layering at the top of the look complements the minimal approach at the bottom. And finally, her minty-green clutch is that final ingredient that makes the look pop with incredible flavor.

Do you remember Olivia (or the O.C. as I affectionately like to call her- she's from Cali and her last name starts with a C)? She's the very first person that I featured here on APB. And, as was the case back in November 2008, she's still owning her personal style. I love the way to she combines mellow-yellow with grey and black.

the shrunken blazer

After the past few seasons of relaxed-fit, boyfriend jackets and eighties-inspired blazers with their exaggerated shoulders, the ladies on the streets of Milan have started to opt for more fitted/deflated-at-the-shoulder versions. It's kind of weird to see them though, I have gotten so used the Balmain shoulders. But welcomed they are as these girls look fantastic!

Floral Forces

Isabel Costa's gorgeous look reminds of the military greens and lovely florals that came down the Dries Van Noten Fall 2010 catwalk. This look is perfect for me- I am currently living in a similar blazer by Theory. And, maybe I'll try the look out with my favorite military-green trousers or my new Giuseppe Zanotti military-inspired, peep-toe boots (Triple S: sample sale score).
