Micol- Young and Posh

I recently had the HUGE pleasure of meeting Micol, Editor of the personal-style blog Feed Your Style. I met up with her last week to take some pictures for Glamour's Young and Posh Network and was blown away by her incredible knack for layering and sharp eyes for accessories.

Maxi love part II

The über creative Louise Ebel in a personal interpretation of the maxi-dress + moto jacket look. I love how she pairs this very feminine hat and these seventies-inspired sandals with this otherwise edgy/feminine look.
I could live in either

Two of my favorite menswear inspired street style looks from SS11. I love the leg on the denim, the white button-down of course and the trench draped over her shoulders; the boots are also so up my alley. The three-piece checked suit is serious. She is totally effortless. The hat elevates the look to total bad-ass status. Excuse the language.
With a twist

The title of illustrator Marie-Victoire De Bascher's blog, With a Twist, is also a fine way to describe her style. I love the way she layers this tweed blazer over a belted v-neck sweater and calf-length skirt adorned with the finest polka dots. Her hat, printed bag and cherry-red sandals mix to create the right twist.
P.S. I love all the hats that we've been seeing this season, especially Marie-Victoire's. Doesn't it remind you of the "outback" style hats? Super stylish!
Maxi love

Rowan's maxi-dress/motorcycle jacket combo is an all-time favorite look of mine. It's chic, it's feminine and it's got the right edge. And topped with this fedora, the look is downright fierce. In fact, this is one of the looks I feel most effortless in. I can't tell you how many times I've worn my personal combo of midnight blue maxi-dress and motorcycle jacket. I've worked the look day and night and several times a week. Hey, when it works, it works.
country charm

I fell for Nadia's style on first glance. I love the way that she's styled her total vintage look. Equal parts cool, equal parts feminine and equal parts outdoors. In fact, I fell for her when she told me that she's living between the countryside and London. I've been looking for a country house for sometime now. Somewhere close enough to Milan where I can whisk my little man off to at a moments notice. Nadia and I already promised each other that she'll visit once I find my little country nest. Early Friday Evening
Bonjour Paris

This past fashion week I was really fortunate to snap some pictures of fashion student Anne-Catherine. Pictured here outside the Chanel show, she is totally Parisian-chic.

Her immaculately-feminine style is so alluring. I love her strong (signature) eyebrows, they remind me of Audrey Hepburn. In fact, her entire fashion situation in these images takes me back to "Funny Face."

But her look is not too feminine as she effortlessly mixes feminine/masculine and feminine/edgy with this gorgeous bag that belonged to her boyfriend's grandpa and these killer Zara wedges.

baby lace

From the runway to the pavé and cobble stone streets of Milan and Paris, lace proved that it is not to be taken delicately this season. ADR, Caroline, Shala, and the adorably preggers Miroslava Duma are a testament to its allure. Miroslava is radiant in this black multi-tiered mini. Also, love her straw hat and beaded headband combo. Very sweet.
